Who is CanadianMomEh ?

I am a daughter, wife, mother, sister, friend, woman. The following are some of the rules of life I subscribe to, have been brought up by, and teach my own family.

1. No matter how bad things get, others have it much worse.
2. Every day is a fresh day, and a blessing, treat it as such.
3. Be kind towards others, expect nothing in return.
4. Forgive others as you would want to be forgiven.
5. Do not hold grudges, they cause premature wrinkles.
6. If a friend is sick or pregnant, bring them food.
7. Do not keep track of who you help, just keep helping.
8. Nothing warms the soul like a fresh home-cooked meal after a difficult day.
9. Meal time together is sacred. Do not let anything or anyone interrupt it.
10. Eat together as it strengthens the bonds of the family.
11. Give your children the best of you. Always.
12. This life is short, leave lasting memories.
13. Give your children lots of hugs and kisses every day.
14. Cuddle. Allot.
15. Compliment others behind their back and be honest with criticism if you value the relationship.
16. Sing like no one is listening.
17. Dream big. Do not be discouraged by those whose dreams have failed.
18. Strive for excellence in everything you do.
19. Keep in touch with family. Embrace the good, dismiss the bad and ignore the ugly.
20. Keep in touch with friends.
21. Friends are family we choose for ourselves.
