#TKeveryday #Recipe Challenge Interview with @My3LilKittens
In celebration of 2015’s Chinese New Year, five Canadian Bloggers have been selected across Canada to compete in a recipe challenge using Thai Kitchen products. These bloggers will have a chance to become Thai Kitchen Canada’s Brand Ambassador. Each contestant’s winning dish will then be entered into a nationwide competition where Canada will have its chance to VOTE for Thai Kitchen’s best recipe.
In honour of Thai Kitchen Canada’s best recipe competition I’ve interviewed Kristen Paskus who blogs over at My 3 Little Kittens. She is an awesome, friendly and talented Canadian blogger. Here’s our interview:
What is your ultimate favourite food? Cupcakes. I absolutely love everything about baking. With a cupcake, you can create something amazing and then top it with even more amazing frosting. All kinds of awesome!
What’s your inspiration for the awesome recipes you have created? My inspiration really came from my love of simplicity. I am a mom first and don’t have all the time in the world to cook. I wanted to create recipes that were not only delicious, but simple and not time consuming!
What is the strangest combination of flavours you have ever used? I am such a perfectionist when it comes to cooking, that I often forget to experiment. The one flavour combination that stands out to me is soy sauce, ketchup and peanut butter. It may sound a little off, but it is seriously delicious!
What do you love most about Thai Kitchen products? I love that Thai Kitchen products allow the average person to feel like a restaurant-style chef in their own home!
For someone who is not familiar with incorporating Thai Kitchen Products into their cooking, what is a good product to start with? The Thai Kitchen Rice Noodles are a staple in my kitchen. They go fantastically with such an array of combinations. Whether you want a meat dish or something vegan, you can’t go wrong with including them in your favourite dish!
You are competing against some other really amazing bloggers for this competition, what would it mean to you, to win this competition? I am not only competing against really amazing bloggers, but also friends. I have been so impressed with everyone’s recipes, photos and dedication to doing their best in this competition. To win would be a great conclusion to this experience. However, I hope the blogger that wins this competition is the one who needs it most and I mean that. I have been #blessed with so much this year already and wish that much for each of them!
Kristen has some awesome recipes she has created for TKEveryday. Here’s one of the drool worthy ones I was enticed by:

Great interview Fariha; it is so nice to learn a little more about Kristen! This sounds like a truly yummy cupcake. Might have to convince hubby to give it a whirl 😉
I’ve never heard of Thai Kitchen Rice Noodles. This sounds like a staple I need to have at my house. I am a newbie cook and would love to make some Thai food…..yum!
I love Kristen’s recipe for these cupcakes. I’ve been drooling over them for a while now. Coconut milk makes so many things taste super yummy (and yes, that is a technical term haha).
Cupcakes are #1 on my list too! Thanks for the yummy recipe.
Yum, yum, yum! I love coconut and I bet these are heavenly. I’ve also voted!
Great interview with Kristen. Those cupcakes look delicious. I love using the Thai Coconut milk in a lot of my recipes.
What a great interview!! I am very similar to Kristen! I love baking (hate cooking!) and I’m such a perfectionist, I tend to follow recipes exactly without experimenting!!
