Light and Healthy Seasonal Fruit Salsa
By: Nadia Azizullah, CanadianMomEh.com
Good weather is here. This means local grocery stores and fresh markets will soon be flooded with fresh local produce. With the heat and humidity in mind, our appetites are usually inclined to light, quick and refreshing options. One of my favourite side dish that I often make is a light and healthy fresh fruit salsa with the produce that our great country offers during the summer. Yes, for all you international readers, Canada does have hot summers!

Nadia Azizullah is a glorified stay-at-home-mom of two, blessed friend of many and a fortunate wife of one. She loves pyjamas, coffee and nail polishes (not necessarily in that order). She also loves to eat “healthy” and works out at the gym regularly – just so she can eat – regularly.
Born and raised in bustling Montreal, she moved to quiet suburban Ottawa after she got married. To keep herself out of trouble, she keeps busy by volunteering at the local gym, with her kids’ school and in the community.
