2013 Ford Escape Titanium Review

I was recently offered the opportunity to drive the 2013 Ford Escape Titanium for a week and share my thoughts.

For those of you new to the site, I’m a work from home mom with two young kids, seven and four. My family and I are still revved up by what an amazing car it is.

Ford has really changed its image. It’s a brand I respect because of their innovative ideas and commitment to using renewable materials. The foam padding in the seat cushions and head restraint of the Escape are made of soybeans and the carpet is made of recycled plastic bottles. How cool is that?

Never before did I associate Ford with luxury, but the all new 2013 Ford Escape Titanium changed that for me. This car is hot!

I loved the subtle but luxurious details including the heated seats, MyFord Touch, Microsoft Sync technology, and the lights in the side-view mirror that light up when a vehicle is in your blind spot.

My favorite detail of the 2013 Ford Escape Titanium, hands down has to be the Active Park Assist. I still cannot get over how cool it is! For the first time ever, I’m actually saddened we don’t have as many spots to parallel park in my suburban neighbourhood.

A close second has to be the hands-free lift-gate. It’s as if it was made for parents! I have thoroughly enjoyed this feature. I cannot believe no one thought of it sooner. Check out my video for a demonstration.

The car is very spacious. The seats look thin, but are comfortable, and on toasty winter mornings you can’t beat the super hot (it has 5 settings!) seat heater.

It’s a firm and luxurious ride. My family and I loved the 2013 Ford Escape Titanium, and it is definitely worth checking out!

As a mom I’m always on the go, everyday is a juggling act. Sometimes it means running all my errands back to back because there is no free time otherwise. With the enormous trunk there is more than enough space for all of your everyday items; think stroller, groceries, returns, gym bag and most importantly, stuffed monkey George.

And yes, I can officially say, I have driven a Ford lately!

A special thank you to Al Shakour for scarves, accessories, and handbags for the photo shoots and Zora D. Photography for all photography and videography.

Please note I was loaned the vehicle to review for one week. No monetary compensation was received for this review. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

    1. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the videos. I found it was a touch lower than the average SUV. It was comfortable getting in and out of the vehicle.

  1. One of the best reviews I have seen. Thanks for this! I am really needing a new vehicle and I would love an SUV. I love the Explorers, but I think the Escape will be the winner in the end. LOVE Ford’s nav system. Great video.

I would love to try that park assist!
