I like big turf and I will not lie @ClubCDL #Montreal #soccer #kids
Soccer is A BIG deal at our house. My kids learned how to walk by chasing soccer balls. Summer at our home is equated with a picnic lunch at the soccer pitch, grass stains and cleats. It’s something we yearn for in the winter months and anticipate in the Spring. Yes…you may call it a slight obsession. After all, it can be hard to find a good indoor pitch for the kids to practice during the off-season. I can only keep the kids from kicking a soccer ball inside the house for so long before somethings breaks.
I was thrilled to learn of the all new CDL Soccer Academy opening its doors this Saturday January 26th in Montreal with an open house that you won’t want to miss! It’s a great time to register your child and check out their beautiful facilities.
CDL Soccer Academy focuses on skill and technique development, teaching kids how to use power, spin and control by building a solid base for them to potentially become competitive players in the future. The skills learned in soccer are highly transferable to many other sports, as players learn to develop footwork, speed, agility and team work.
I like big astroturf and I will not lie. It’s a Nexxfield turf. At 156’’ x 89’’, their turf rivals that of most soccer plexus. Also, the majority of indoor soccer fields have a shorter, more artificial turf, whereas CDL Soccer Academy provides a much softer and more realistic feel. With the lockers and showers slated to be complete in February, CDL Soccer Academy will soon become a drool-worthy, tingly sensation, prime facility for any soccer fan.
As CDL Soccer Academy is just opening its doors, they will start at a recreational level, meaning all kids will be accepted regardless of their skill level, they will be taught the necessary skills to advance, then put into different teams to make it more competitive. They even have plans to introduce a second sport for next year.
I cannot wait until they launch a lunch time league for adults in September! See you on the pitch!
My boys love soccer too. Our season runs from May-June and sometimes we are out at the field in our winter coats while it is snowing. (The joys of living in the north.) I would love to have access to an indoor pitch. Maybe one day! hehe!
this is something we don’t have in our community, but I’ve heard from others that do how fantastic it is. For someone serious about soccer, training all year round is important.
I wish our community had an indoor arena like!! What a great way to keep the kids exercising all year long!!
Soccer was huge for my girls when they were young. What a great way to stay healthy and fit and have fun too. It’s a great sport for the whole family to be involved in. I only wish I played!
I think I might get my little guy playing soccer next year. We have a some great indoor and outdoor soccer areas in our town
