Canadian Restaurants where Kids Eat for Free
Remember when eating out meant enjoying a quiet meal with your significant other and a small car seat with a sleeping baby quietly by your side? Time flies, and as kids grow, so do their appetites. Depending on where you go, eating out with kids can get expensive. It’s always good to keep a short list of places kids eat free on hand.
I remember two summers ago when four other families joined ours for Kids Eat Free at Pizza Hut. We had just finished an afternoon of bowling and were hungry. We were ten adults and sixteen kids. We had not made a reservation and all the kids ate for free. It happened to be St. Jean Baptiste (Quebec’s provincial holiday) and a good time was had by all. The service was great and we made sure the one waitress on duty that afternoon went home with a great tip. (This post is not sponsored by Pizza Hut)

- Pizza Hut ~ Kids 10 and under eat free on Tuesdays, with the purchase of an adult entree. Go at lunch and they have the buffet, cheaper for the adults and lots of options for everyone.
- Zellers Restaurants {hurry, they won’t be open much longer} ~ Kids 12 and under eat free Monday thru Wednesday. One free child meal per adult meal, valued at $6.99 or greater.
- East Side Mario’s ~ Kids eat FREE 5 days a week’. From Sunday to Thursday, kids 10 and under receive one FREE Mini Mario’s Meal with each adult entree purchased at $14.99* or more
- Denny’s ~ Kids 10 and under eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4-10pm with the purchase of an adult entree.
- Humpty’s ~ Kids 10 and under eat free on Fridays from 5-9pm. One free child meal per adult meal, valued at $6.95 or greater.
- Joey’s Fish and Chips ~ kids eat free on Sundays
- Applebee’s ~ Kids eat free on Wednesdays {at participating restaurants}
- Montana’s ~ kids eat free every Tuesday. One free child meal per adult entree, valued at $9.99 or greater.
- Holiday Inn ~ You don’t have to stay there to go to the restaurant and have your kids eat for free. This includes breakfast lunch and dinner, and everyday.
- abc Country Restaurant ~ Kids Eat Free on Wednesdays after 4pm
- Albert’s ~ Kids eat free on Fridays from 2pm – close with the purchase of 1 adult entree

In Ottawa, kids get a free meal at Shwarma Prince with the purchase of an adult meal…that’s a saving of $8.95! i think a kid’s meal, includes a lebanese sandwich, a juice/milk box and a cookie/dessert…:)
